Lead Enrichment in Odoo CRM

Understanding Agents in Zoho Desk

 

  1. Enable the Leads Feature

Before you can enrich leads, you’ll need to activate the Leads feature in your CRM settings.

  • Go to CRM app → Configuration → Settings
  • Under the CRM section, tick Leads
  • Click Save

 

⚠️ This is required to unlock lead enrichment.

  1. Set Up Lead Enrichment

Once leads are enabled, you can now turn on the enrichment service.

  • Go to CRM app → Configuration → Settings
  • Scroll to the Lead Generation section
  • Tick Lead Enrichment
  • Choose one of the following:
    • Enrich all leads automatically
    • Enrich leads on demand only
  • Click Save
  1. Automatically Enrich Leads

If you’ve selected Enrich all leads automatically, Odoo will do the work for you.

  • Leads will be enriched every 60 minutes using the email domain
  • Data is pulled from Odoo’s external database (requires internet connection)

 

To manage the auto-enrichment timing:

  • Enable Developer Mode
  • Go to Settings app → Technical → Automation → Scheduled Actions
  • Look for CRM: enrich leads (IAP)
  • Set your preferred interval (minimum 5 minutes)
  1. Manually Enrich Leads

Prefer more control or saving credits? You can enrich leads manually.

  • Open a lead in the CRM app
  • Click the Enrich button at the top

 

💡 Bulk Enrich Tips:

  • Switch to List View in the Leads section
  • Select multiple leads using checkboxes
  • Click the ⚙️ Action button → Select Enrich

You can also do this from My Pipeline under CRM → Sales → My Pipeline

 

What Kind of Data Will Be Added?

 

Lead enrichment can pull in:

  • Business name and logo
  • Company type
  • Year founded
  • Industry sectors
  • Employee count
  • Estimated revenue
  • Phone number
  • Timezone
  • Website and social media links
  • Technologies used

This gives you a well-rounded picture of your prospects—right from your CRM.

Tips

  • Use manual enrichment for high-value leads only, to save credits.
  • Regularly review enriched data for accuracy and relevance.
  • You get free credits to test lead enrichment if you’re on Odoo Enterprise.

Each enriched lead costs one IAP credit.

To buy credits:

  1. Go to CRM app → Configuration → Settings
  2. Under Lead Generation, click Buy Credits
