Understanding Organization Structure and Management in Zoho Analytics

In Zoho Analytics, an Organisation is your central space for managing data access, user roles, and collaboration. It allows you to control users, workspaces, permissions, and subscriptions-all in one place. Whether you’re the Account Administrator or part of a shared organisation, this guide helps you understand how to make the most of Zoho Analytics.

Organisation – Basic Concepts
- What is an Organisation in Zoho Analytics?
An Organisation is created when you subscribe to a Zoho Analytics account. It can contain:
- Multiple Workspaces
- Multiple Users
- A subscription plan that defines your limits and access

Case 1: No existing organisation
- Sign up for Zoho Analytics
- Your organisation is created automatically
- Click the Org icon to view it
Click Rename Organisation to update its name

Case 2: Already added to an organisation
- Click the Org icon
- Your current organisations are listed
- Click Create own organisation to start your own

Administrator Roles and Permissions

Managing Users
- Adding Users
- Share a report or workspace
- Or go to Settings > Manage Users > Add New User
- Adding Administrators
- Go to Settings > Manage Users

- Click Add New User
- Select Role: Organisation Admin
- Enter email addresses and click Add

- Changing a User’s Role
- Go to Settings > Manage Users

Hover over the user > click Change Role

Select new role > click Apply

- Transferring Account Ownership
- Go to Settings > Change Ownership
- Select a new Account Admin

- Click Send Request

- Adding Existing Users
- Share content or use the Manage Users tab to add them directly
- Removing Users
- Go to Settings > Manage Users
- Select the user > click Delete User
This only removes the user from your organisation, not their Zoho account.

- Viewing Workspaces
- Click the Org icon
- Select the organisation to load all available workspaces
- No Reports Visible?
- The admin may not have shared any content yet
- Contact them to request access
