Organization Chart – Visualize Your Company Structure

 

The Organization Chart in Zoho Connect offers a clear, visual layout of your company’s reporting structure. It shows who reports to whom and where each person fits within the organizational hierarchy.

Giving employees access to this chart empowers them to:

  • Understand team structures and leadership paths
  • Enhance communication and foster cross-team collaboration

Whether you’re a new hire trying to learn names or a manager coordinating across departments, the Organization Chart brings clarity to your company’s structure  at a glance.

 

How to Add a User to the Organization Chart

 

Follow these steps to assign a reporting manager and place a user within the organizational hierarchy:

  • Open the User’s Profile
    Navigate to the profile of the user you want to add to the org chart.
  • Access Reporting Settings
    Click the ellipsis icon () in the top-right corner of their profile page.
    From the dropdown, select “Reporting To.”
  • Assign a Reporting Manager
    In the pop-up window, choose the person this user should report to from the list.
  • Save Changes
    Click Save to update the organizational chart.

 

Once added, the user will automatically appear in the org chart under their assigned    reporting manager.

How to View the Organization Chart

 

Want to see where you or someone else fits in the company hierarchy? Follow these steps to view the Organization Chart:

 

  • Click Your Profile Picture
    In the top-right corner of the screen, click your profile picture.
  • Open Your Profile
    From the dropdown menu, select My Profile.
  • View the Org Chart
    On your profile page, click the Org Chart icon (🗂️) located in the top-right corner.
  • See Your Position
    Once clicked, your position in the organizational chart will be displayed, including your reporting line and direct reports (if any).

 

You can also view others’ positions by visiting their profile and clicking the same icon.
