Introduction

Zoho Social makes it easy to switch between subscription plans based on your evolving needs. Whether you’re upgrading to access more features or downgrading to reduce costs, your data and settings will remain safe.

Important Note on Downgrading

 

Follow these steps to upgrade or downgrade your subscription in Zoho Social:

1. Access Your Subscription Settings

  • Click your Profile Picture at the top-right corner of your Zoho Social dashboard.
  • Select Manage Subscription from the dropdown menu.

2. Choose to Change Plan

  • Click on the Change Plan

3. Select a New Plan

  • Browse the available subscription plans:
    • Standard
    • Professional
    • Premium
    • Agency
    • Agency Plus
  • Click:
    • Upgrade if you’re moving to a higher-tier plan, or
    • Downgrade if you’re moving to a lower-tier plan.

4. Confirm and Proceed

  • Follow the prompts to confirm your new plan and review billing adjustments.
  • Complete any payment changes (if upgrading) or confirm plan limits (if downgrading).

Plan Switched Successfully

After confirmation:

  • Your subscription will be updated immediately or at the end of the current billing cycle (depending on Zoho’s policy).
  • Any features not included in the new plan will be disabled, but your data will remain saved for future use.

Zoho Social Free Plan

Zoho Social offers a 15-day free trial when you sign up, giving you the flexibility to explore different subscription tiers and understand what works best for your business. Once the trial period ends, you can either move to a paid plan or continue using the Free plan with limited features.

During Your 15-Day Free Trial

  • You get full access to the features available in the plan you select for your trial.
  • You can switch between plans during the trial to explore different functionalities (e.g., Professional, Premium, Agency).
  • This gives you the opportunity to test advanced tools like reports, automation, team collaboration, and more.

After the Trial Ends

You’ll be given two options:

  1. Upgrade to a paid plan that fits your needs (Standard, Professional, Premium, Agency, or Agency Plus).
  2. Downgrade to the Free plan, which comes with limited capabilities.

What You Get with the Free Plan

Even after the trial ends, the Free plan offers essential tools for basic social media management:

Key Features of the Free Plan:

  • 1 Brand: You can manage one Brand within your Zoho Social portal.
  • 1 Team Member: You can invite one user (including yourself) to the portal.
  • Publish to 6 Social Channels:
    • Facebook Page
    • X (formerly Twitter) Profile
    • Instagram Business Profile
    • Google My Business Listing
    • LinkedIn Profile
    • LinkedIn Company Page
  • zShare Browser Extension: Share web content directly to your social media accounts via the Zoho Social browser extension.

Limitations of the Free Plan

  • No access to premium features such as advanced reports, content approval workflows, or additional team members.
  • Add-ons for Brands and Users are not supported.
  • Designed for individual users or very small teams managing a single Brand.
